House in Foinikounta

This seaside residence in Finikounda is a project of adapting an old building to modern design. In this context, the building's load-bearing structure is preserved, but both the building shell and the interior layout are altered.

 

Lines and volumes in line with the philosophy of modernism are followed, natural colours and materials such as stone and wood are chosen for the cladding of the facades, while planting strips are created on the ground floor and on the first floor in place of a narrow balcony that existed before.

The new house is organised on the ground floor and the first floor, with the ground floor including a living room, kitchen, office, bathroom and storage space and the first floor having a bathroom and 3 bedrooms, one of which is a master with independent bathroom, dressing room and a spectacular view of the beach.
